Beans Act
珈琲挽売専門店 ビーンズアクト
At Beans Act in Nerima, shoppers can pick up custom weighed-to-order coffee beans, carefully chosen condiments and specialty groceries, and handmade crafts in the back gallery.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Step through the door of Beans Act in residential Nerima, and the first thing you notice is the generous assortment of coffee beans. Sold by weight, the beans can be chosen with guidance from the shopkeeper based on your taste preferences, featuring distinct profiles like a French mix blended for café au lait, single origins like Colombia and Andes Mountain, and the house Crystal Blend. Single-serve drip bags are available starting from 1 pack for easy home brewing, and coffee is also available for takeout.
Alongside the coffee shelves is a thoughtfully curated selection of foods sourced domestically and from abroad. Jams, honeys, seasonings like Muscovado sugar and rock salt, imported confections, and even cheeses and sausages fill the displays, adding a touch of discovery to everyday meals.
While the front of the shop is dedicated to coffee beans and specialty foods, the rear opens into an exhibition and retail space showcasing crafts and handmade items from around the world. Between welcoming advice on bean selection and browsing the artisanal goods and seasonings, it is an inviting place to pick up tomorrow morning’s cup of coffee alongside something unique for the pantry.
